Signs of Ascension include emotional, physical and mental cleansing as well as a sense of balance and empowerment.

The shift in consciousness from the 3rd dimension to the 5th dimension brings about emotional, physical and mental cleansing that often takes the form of instability and trauma. These are lessons to be learned during Ascension. However, these negative effects are complemented by the positive--a sense of balance and empowerment that emerges from the way you handle these lessons.

Signs of Emotional Cleansing

Because you are moving into a new frequency, you will experience a range of emotional turmoil which is a sign of emotional cleansing. Emotional blocks surface in many forms—incessant weeping, depression, anxiety attacks, food cravings, weight gain or weight loss. Weeping is often a symptom of the dying of the old order or the old self before the birth of the new one. Loss of the old behavior paradigms is bound to create emotional instability. Surfacing of old issues must be experienced before they can be integrated and balanced with the new.

Signs of Physical Cleansing

The body going through a shift in consciousness will manifest symptoms of pain and trauma. You might have a series of unexplained aches all over your body; or the pain might manifest in one stubborn location, like the arch of a foot or the blade of a shoulder. Signs of physical cleansing might also come in the form of a persistent cold, a raging fever or general malaise. Do not be alarmed. A visit to the doctor or the naturopath might help. Rest assured that these are symptoms of a body going through the process of Ascension.

Signs of Mental Cleansing

Signs of mental cleansing come in all forms. Some people going through mental cleansing might experience a sense of disorientation even in familiar territory. Others experience memory loss or déjà vu—as though whatever they are experiencing has not happened or has happened before. Time speeds up, collapsing events; one day moves so quickly into another you have difficulty remembering the sequence of hours. Others experience dramatic and vivid dreams, fragments of which often spill into their days. Still others are seized by a desire to pursue a dream or goal. There are lessons to be learned from all these challenges and accepting them will help you secure a stronger footing in the process of Ascension.

Signs of Balance

Emerging from the turmoil are also signs of balance. You find yourself developing a stronger sense of compassion, especially when you've learned the lessons of integration and balance. You begin to move away from the polarity of judgment, the polarity of good versus bad; instead you become more like nature which uproots trees as easily as it sprouts new roots. Like nature, you begin to accept the dark sides of life as well as the bright sides, accepting death as well as birth. A shift in your consciousness brings about an acceptance of death in nature as well as your own death. You lose your fear of disease and dying because you begin to see them as the balancing act of wholeness in the cosmos.

Signs of Empowerment

Learning the lessons implicit in difficulties and challenges solidifies your sense of the divinity within. You experience signs of empowerment. You realize that you have the power to create your reality. You receive rapid manifestations of intentions and you have a feeling that indeed you have changed. You can feel it in your bones. You begin to live with a sense of mission to be of service to others because that's ultimately what life is all about—to find the divinity within and share it with the world.

Because the signs of Ascension can easily be dismissed as illness, it is important that you develop strategies for centering. Meditation, yoga and prayer are helpful for dealing with these symptoms.

Wow, been to the doctors three times to treat some unknown illness that could not be diagnosed. Feeling like I am going crazy, crying, panic attacks followed by extreme peace and new insights. Thank God for this site!

are you sure this isn't just what happens when a normal person matures? aches and pains, sadness about the mistakes of the past, anxiety about the future. yes, one can call the process of maturing an ascension, but to deem it some sort of magical process is foolish.

I have been having a sense of disorientation recently, sort of like a loss of balance, but it doesn't make me dizzy just ..... well very hard to explain. My girlfriend has also been experiencing abdominal pains. I took her to the doctor but they cannot find anything as of yet. I know about stomach pains as i was diagnosed with crohn's disease. Which i can thankfully say hasn't been bugging me at all these past years. I have looked into my heart and realize what is taking place at this moment. Very beautiful and uplifting. Great article .

I feel deeply grateful for articles such as this because it gives me a greater understanding, especially in light of what I have been going through - anxiety attacks, depression, reclusiveness, physical and emotional pain. Now, I know that I am not alone and that it is all temporary. There is a need for me to be kind and gentle with myself in the process.

I got diagnosed with fibro last year, but knew there was more too it then that... Always felt it was happening for a reason. Now I have lost alot of weight that I gained, feel a little less sore and am hoping others will get inspiration from my weight loss... I care more for my fellow man, but become aggrivated by people who cling to the third dimension. I don't think I'm better then them, but I can't help but feel irritated. Anyways great read thankyou!
